Medication and Repeat Prescriptions
Managing your medication is an important part of your ongoing care at London Psychiatry Clinic. Our clinical team works closely with you to ensure your treatment plan remains safe, effective, and tailored to your needs.
About your medication
Many patients at LPC are prescribed medication as part of their mental health treatment, including antidepressants, mood stabilisers, ADHD medication, anxiolytics, and sleep aids, among others. Your clinician will discuss your medication with you at each appointment and review your progress over time.
For some medications, particularly controlled drugs and those requiring regular monitoring, your clinician may ask you to provide vital readings such as blood pressure, heart rate, height and weight before issuing a repeat prescription. This ensures your medication remains safe and appropriate for you.
How repeat prescriptions work
Once your clinician has established your treatment plan, repeat prescriptions can be requested between appointments using the form below. Please note:
- All prescription requests are reviewed by your clinician before anything is issued. Submitting a request does not guarantee a prescription will be provided.
- Please allow at least 2 working days for standard prescriptions and 5 working days for controlled drug (CD) prescriptions. We recommend submitting your request in good time before your medication runs out.
- Prescription fees apply (£25 for standard prescriptions, £55 for controlled drug prescriptions). An invoice for the relevant fee will be sent once your prescription request is received. Please note, prescriptions will not be issued until payment for the associated fee is received. Please ensure payment is made promptly to avoid delays in receiving your medication.

You will need your medication name, dosage, preferred pharmacy details, and your date of birth and email address as registered with the clinic. This service is for existing patients only. If you are a new patient and wish to discuss medication, please contact our Enquiries Team or book an appointment.
